HIST 5100: Introduction to Digital Scholarship

A graduate seminar at the University of North Texas, “Introduction to Digital Scholarship” teaches advanced digital methods in historical research. The course is built around a collaborative research project in the runaway slave ads from antebellum Texas newspapers.

The course is a collaboration with a concurrent class at Rice University taught by Caleb McDaniel.
